I'm going to organise this with Dom as he did it last year, here is a copy of an email this morning outlining the weekend
I think the best format to do would be:
Friday: Ferry over to Dunkirk/Calais and park somewhere in France and leave cars – Do a route to Ghent around 70 miles which includes some of the Paris-Roubaix cobble sections like Carrefour de I’Arbre. http://www.podiumcafe.com/2011/4/7/2096 ... is-roubaix
Arrive Ghent and go and watch the 6 day, last year we watched Cav which was great, there is a proper party going on in the middle, but I would recommend getting seats on the outside as you get a much better view of the racing and you can still go down to the party in the middle.
On the Saturday last year we did a 60 mile route including some of the cobbled climbs of the tour of Flanders. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Koppenberg
Saturday night watch the racing.
Sunday - cycle back to the car direct route
Last year I had a total of 24 people and 2 support cars, but you only need one van for that many people. Some people have expressed an interest in doing over 4 days and leaving Thursday/ and or coming back on the Monday, but I think that would reduce the numbers.
You need 2 speed groups, last year we tried as one and it we only managed about a 15mph average as I tried to be an inclusive as possible on who I invited.
I would suggest a 15-17mph group and an 18mph+ group.
The cost last year was about £180 per person including homemade food on the way out and back, broom wagon, hostel and tickets. I got £100 deposit non-refundable paid up front and that paid for the tickets and ferry.http://www.sport.be/z6sdaagse/2014/nl/?1=22

Simon what I would ask is that we arrange/organise it together as I would still like to invite the guys from Worthing etc and no reason we can’t all get tickets and rooms as long as we are organised and book early.
